With some air-fryer magic, you can transform frozen hash brown patties into crisp and delicious gluten-free “toast.”
Ingredients:
- Frozen hash brown patties
- Avocado
- Lime juice
- Eggs
- Neutral cooking oil
- Sea salt and black pepper
- Red pepper flakes or chile crisp oil (optional)
How-to:
1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Place hash browns in air-fryer basket and cook, turning halfway through, about 10–12 minutes.
2. While hash browns are cooking, mash avocado with lime juice. Pan fry eggs in neutral oil, ensuring a safe internal temperature of 160°F. Layer mashed avocado and fried egg on each hash brown patty.
3. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and freshly cracked pepper. Add some red pepper flakes or drizzle with chile crisp oil if you’re craving some heat.
