During a sports physical, one of our healthcare providers will review your medical history and perform a physical examination to ensure you're ready to take part in athletic activities. During the exam, they will check your height, weight, blood pressure and vision. They’ll also assess your heart, lungs, joints and flexibility.
No, a sports physical is different from a regular physical. Sports physicals focus on evaluating your ability to safely take part in sports, while a regular physical provides a more comprehensive health assessment.
Please bring any required sports physical forms from your school or sports organization. It's also helpful to bring a list of any medications you're taking and information about previous injuries or medical conditions.
