With 30% fewer calories than sugared gum, Trident Original gum is sweetened with xylitol, a naturally occurring sugar alcohol. Trident Original combines the flavors of peppermint and cinnamon gum for a unique, refreshing flavor. The ADA Council on Scientific Affairs found that the physical of chewing Trident sugarless gum for 20 minutes after eating stimulates saliva flow which helps to prevent cavities by reducing plaque acids and strengthening teeth.
