    What is a Biometric Screening?

Knowing your risk of disease is the first step in taking action to stay healthy.

    What to expect?

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health.

Biometric Screenings are available at our pharmacies and clinics.

Kroger Health and Mercy Health are teaming up to offer quick, convenient mammography screening services at select TLC locations in Ohio throughout the year.

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and most women who develop breast cancer do not have a family history of the disease. Mammograms can detect cancer 3 years before a tumor can be felt, which allows for an increased survival rate (98% for early detection).

The Mobile Mammography Unit allows private 15-minute screenings. Mercy Health technologists professionally screen patients using the same state of the art technology and equipment found at any Mercy Health Imaging Facility, such as the 3D mammography, also known as tomosynthesis, which is the newest screening and diagnostic tool to fight breast cancer.

No doctor order is needed to make an appointment. Please check with your insurance company to confirm a yearly mammogram is covered. If you are uninsured or underinsured, you may be eligible for financial assistance.

Call 513–686–3300 to schedule your appointment or visit www.mercy.com/CincinnatiMobileMammo.

A Tuberculosis (TB) or PPD skin test is used to detect latent, also known as “silent,” TB infection. A PPD skin test is often used for persons in high exposure occupations, such as healthcare, to catch any infections before they become severe or communicable to others. The medication is administered into the skin, typically on the lower forearm, and reviewed 48 to 72 hours after injection to assess for any localized reaction.
